Motivation

My passion for mangrove forests developed during my studies and working on research projects. Stays in countries of the global south and professional activities with non-governmental organizations have made me aware of the importance of giving nature a voice – independent and non-profit. With this motivation in mind, I founded the Verein für Mangrovenschutz e.V., which sees itself as a lobby for mangrove forests.
